What is TRIBE?
Transformation
Respect
Integrity
Belonging
Empowerment
I have an insatiable passion for talking about and promoting men’s mental health, spiritual growth and physical wellbeing and upon noticing a shortage of men’s groups within the spiritual community, I decided to create TRIBE; a safe place for men to gather round a welcoming fire and speak aloud about their worry’s and concerns, issues they’re facing, experiences, victories, anything which they otherwise may not feel comfortable sharing in a mixed group. The talking circle is followed by a drumming circle to release the emotion and embrace the healing vibrations of the drum for those who feel the call, however, I appreciate the drumming may not be for everyone.
TRIBE is setup to offer support and comfort, a safe space, a brotherhood for men in the spiritual community and those who are just beginning their healing journey to simply speak and be heard. After being fortunate enough to have had such supportive figures around me throughout my healing journey, I wanted to provide the same for others and encourage more men to embrace the opportunity for spiritual growth and the chance to establish their own peace.
TRIBE meets at 7pm on the last Thursday of every month in the Roundhouse at:
The Clophill Centre
Clophill

What to expect
When you arrive at The Clophill Centre, head through the gate and up the field until you come to the wooded area, off to the right, you’ll see the Round House.
Come in and take a seat as we await the rest of our brothers. I will open the gathering by talking about what’s been going on with me and what’s on my mind, then I shall pass the talking stick to the next person and so on. We don’t respond to what others are saying, we’re there to hold space for each other and let each person say their piece. You’re never forced to speak, but you are encouraged as it’s a safe space to do so.
After everyone has had a chance to speak, we can break off into groups if you wanted to discuss anything further with someone,
Afterwards, we will then hold a drumming circle for those who wish to stay.
The Roundhouse is sheltered however can still get a bit chilly so please do wear suitable clothing, feel free to bring your own camping chair if you prefer, a flask with your favourite hot drink but please no alcohol.
As TRIBE grows, I will also be looking to arrange workshops; things like photography, wood whittling, and more…
